Damn my Jeep looks good!

8) So we got home and hitup autozone and advance but no one had spark plug cables for an 08 rudicon. We did however find a single in the back of autozone that was built the same, had that same fabric core, took the trail cable off and put the new one on and away AJ went in his more, up to spec, spark plug cable. I do have to say though that the copper was REALLY soft when we took it off. So next time we will use 5 strands! hahaha

Oh no! You're telling me the oven was broken today. Well glad ya got it fixed. Oh ya, and OMG who carries a soldering iron on a trail ride??????? That was funny right there. Will be there in the morning, see ya'll out there.

muddrat- 06-06-2009

I tell you what I'm goning to get an inverter and a soldering iron just because it is a tool that is unthought of that saved some ass today! Glad you found a wire that worked though but atleast the trail made one got him to the parts store.

Corrupt- 06-06-2009

I already have the inverter. Makes note to self......put soldering iron in the truck. along with the welder, torches, oh yea, and stop by the store and pick up a spare spark plug wire....lol...I just had to say it.

muddrat- 06-06-2009

I'm going to call the Snap-On salesman and see if the tool truck is 4WD!

"HOT ROD"- 06-07-2009

i told him they wouldnt have wires for that jeep yet

I'm going to call the Snap-On salesman and see if the tool truck is 4WD! OK, i can't beat that one....that was good

acdcfreak78- 06-07-2009

i told him they wouldnt have wires for that jeep yet Hey hey hey.... ...we found one...

acdcfreak78- 06-07-2009

 ugh.... all my drive train mounts are loose, which jerked the whole drivetrain as I engaged my clutch... SOMEONE routed the speedometer cable through a body support frame about 1" from the tranny and it tweaked the speedo-cable. yay

"HOT ROD"- 06-07-2009

so what happens now? new speedo-cable?

acdcfreak78- 06-07-2009

lol i'm going to try and tweak it back and put one on order... if the quick fix doesn't work, then I will just order one and go off my GPS and what it says with how fast I'm going. ... and tighten the mounts... hey I'm also making a new thread that is 2009/06/06 pictures, because I figured out how to put them in the posts. I'll PM you with how to do it.
