1 ton axles for a YJ
Ok, have a question.
Any ideas what year models of One ton trucks I should look for to get axles for my YJ?
Figure it be cheaper to go to a junk yard to get axles than to special order them.
Try to get a 78-79 F-250 (Ford) front. This way you will not have to move your front leaf springs out any (wider).
Look to spend around $900.00 to $1,300.00

In my opinon the best bang for the buck in the rear is a GM "14 bolt" rear.
It is as strong as the day is long and parts are cheep.
Can be found for for $150.00 to $300.00

Hope it helps. Mark
